Promotion is granted on the basis of whole academic year’s work of the pupil. Results declared at the end of the year are final. The general criterion for promotion is that the pupil has grasped the subject matter of his/her present class sufficiently in order to be able to follow the syllabus of next higher class. The promotion norms are as under:-
- Should obtain 33% in aggregate marks for the year’s average in Theory.
- Should obtain 40% in aggregate marks for the year’s average in Practical Exam.
- Must pass in all subjects.
- Should have at-least 75% attendance.
- For classes IX-XII as per the promotion rules of CBSE.
